Open Rehearsal

Have you ever wanted to try choral singing but were not sure how to join in? Come and join us for an open rehearsal.

No audition is necessary and we will provide you with music for the evening. We will be rehearsing part of the work we are preparing for our concert in January and doing some other singing activities as well as having a social break so you can get to know a few people. The rehearsal will start at 7.30pm and music distribution will be from 7.15pm. There is plenty of parking and level access into the building.

In January we will be performing ‘The Creation’ by Joseph Haydn in Durham Cathedral. This is one of the staples of the choral repertoire and it was the work sung in our first concert back in 1962. We are singing it again to mark our 60th anniversary.
